You don’t need more marketing. You need better thinking.

When your marketing isn’t working, the instinct is to, well, do more marketing. Try a different tactic or platform, or create a shiny new website, ad campaign, or [fill in the blank].

It’s not necessarily wrong. Sometimes, that’s exactly what you need. But marketing can only amplify what’s already there. And if you haven’t fixed the foundation, more marketing ain’t gonna help.

If you want to stop throwing money at marketing that doesn’t work, start with the things that give people a reason to care in the first place.

It’s time to fix what’s under the hood.

I work with a small number of small and midsize businesses that want more than another project or temporary fix. I get close to your business, learn how it works, and help strengthen your marketing overall.

I’m not one of those consultants who’ll promise to improve your MQLs by eight percent or lower your CAC by fourteen and a half.

Instead, I’ll promise to help you fix the things that actually matter. Like clarifying what truly sets you apart. Strengthening your brand foundation. And improving the way your business shows up in the real world.

Get those things right, and the numbers tend to take care of themselves. Instead of spending so much energy chasing attention, you can give people more reasons to come to you.

Because unless you’ve got a marketing budget the size of the GDP of the Maldives (approximately $8 billion, BTW), you’re not going to win on volume. You’re going to win by mattering.

The right partner makes all the difference.

I started my career at top national agencies working with smart people, big budgets, and brands like UPS, Target, Ford, General Mills, and UnitedHealthcare. Over time, I became less interested in marketing that manufactured attention and more interested in businesses that earned it.

Today, you work directly with me. No account team. No layers. No big egos or fancy consultant-speak. Just an experienced strategic and creative partner who gets to know your business, gives you an honest perspective, and stays close enough to help turn good thinking into something real.

Look, Ma! I wrote a book.

Deep Marketing: How to Attract and Keep the Right Customers Without Chasing, Shouting, Begging, Pitching, or Selling Your Soul captures my approach to business and marketing. It teaches how to stand out in a world that’s getting noisier by the minute—by going deep instead of wide.

If you want to understand how I think—or simply learn from my 25-plus years of marketing experience—the book is a good place to start.
