When they hired me, Nor-Son had a logo, a color palette, and a photo library. That was about it. No defined personality. No authentic voice. No visual language that conveyed what made them genuinely different from every other builder in the region.

Before anything was designed or written, we did the deeper work. Working closely with the CEO and CMO, we dug beneath the surface to find what made Nor-Son unmistakably itself. Not just what they built—but why they built it. What they believed about the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. What their clients felt when a Nor-Son project was done.
What emerged was an identity with real warmth and heart. A company that understood, more than most, that a home isn’t just a structure—it’s where life actually happens. That insight became the foundation for everything that followed.

With that clarity established, the creative work had a clear direction. We developed a visual style that was warm, sophisticated, and distinctly Nor-Son—professional enough to compete for high-end commercial work, human enough to feel like the kind of company you'd trust with your family’s home.
The voice was equally specific. Not generic contractor language or corporate construction-speak—but an authentic tone that reflected the company’s genuine understanding of how humans feel about their spaces. The kind of voice that makes a prospect think, “these people actually get it.”
Over many years as their one-person agency, I worked alongside the internal marketing team on hundreds of projects—providing strategic direction, creative ideas, and execution across advertising, marketing materials, and everything in between. Always making sure it stayed true to the identity we'd built together.
